NaNoWriMo 2014

So I've decided to take on NaNoWriMo again this year. Who's ready for the blog about how I failed?

I've actually never successfully completed NaNo, but this year will be better. I'll just keep telling myself that.

I'm breaking the rules this time in hopes that I'll at least do 50k words, even if they're not all on the same book.

Here is the list of works I'm hacking away at:

- SOPC Book 1

- Middle Management (Adult Humor Novel)

- Untitled (Urban Fantasy YA Novelette)

- Put a Bow on it (Nonfiction book/articles on writing)

- Ice House (Fantasy Short Story)

- Random Poetry & Songs

Hopefully, between working on all these things, I should be able to pull together 50k words, right?

I'm a pretty slow writer because I’m rather meticulous about my phrasings. The point of NaNoWriMo is to shut off your internal editor and just put the words on the page. Maybe if my internal editor is bothering me too much, I'll have enough projects to hack at every day to get my 1666.66667 words/day out.

We shall see.
